Crochet Oval Basket With Plaid Edging

I really enjoy making crocheted baskets and adding new designs to “My Mountain Lodge Collection”. This Oval Basket is quick to make as you will be holding two strands of yarn until you reach the drop over plaid edging. This Oval Basket is just in time for you to decorate your home for the fall season. Fill it with crocheted pumpkins and put it on a table in the foyer, or pssssttt….the bathroom. It’s just the right size to hold two double rolls of tissue paper. I have another oval basket that holds three rolls of tissue paper. You will find it here.

Change the color on the drop over plaid edge, and you have a Christmas Oval Basket. Wouldn’t this Oval Basket look perfect full of pine cones or Christmas candy?

I love the tuxedo bow! You can find a Tutorial right here that shows you how to make one!

The Fall themed Oval Basket would be so cute full of crocheted pumpkins! You can find the free pattern to these squishy little cuties right here. If you haven’t made any of these pumpkins please beware…once you start making them it is so hard to stop. They are so addictive.

Please add this to your Ravelry Que, and if you would like to have the complete pattern in your Ravelry Library, you can pick it up here! It includes a chart to refer to when making the bottom of the basket.
