I love to put children in watermelon themed clothing and with a change of color and black buttons for little seeds, this lace sun hat pictures a watermelon. I think the grosgrain ribbon bow on the side is perfect. These bows are coming back ya know! I have a tutorial on how to make a pull tie bow.

You can use any worsted weight yarn and the star buttons are easy to find on etsy. That is my go to place to find unique buttons.
