Nautical Placemat | Free Crochet Pattern

Let me show you how to crochet a placemat for your Farmhouse or Nautical home.

Free crochet pattern for this placemat.

Let me show you how to use this placemat crochet pattern to create table decor, that you can use in your nautical or farmhouse home. Change the colors to gray and cream, or cranberry and white and it will easily fit into a farmhouse theme of decorating. Embellishing the placemats with fabric is so much fun and it serves a practical purpose, as you can add silverware or a napkin into those adorable fabric embellishments.

I sometimes use affiliate links in my posts. This won’t cost you anything, but will help offset the cost of yarn and other supplies needed, so that I can continue bringing you crochet patterns and craft ideas. Thank you so much for your support.

You will find the free crochet pattern at the bottom of this post, but first let’s talk about the details. The placemat can be crocheted using cotton or acrylic yarn. Using fabric from Waverly that I purchased at Walmart is what I used to make the triangle silverware holders. There are 4 other crochet patterns that coordinate with this placemat. A Table Runner, Mug Rug, Round Basket and a Napkin Basket. The whole collection is lovely.

How to add the fabric to your placemats.
