Double sided dishcloths are so nice to use when scrubbing in the kitchen.

They will  fit in your hand like a sponge or brillo pad. So you know this Christmas tree dishcloth scrubby is going to fit inside a glass or jar.

This crochet Christmas tree dishcloth scrubby has Red Heart Scrubby sparkle yarn as the snow puffs, on the boughs of the Christmas tree.

I love adding a bit of scrubby yarn to my dishcloths. It turns an ordinary dishcloth into a scrubby that will help you get the stuck on grime, off of your dishes and pots and pans.

I sometimes use affiliate links in my posts. This won’t cost you anything, but will help offset the cost of yarn and other supplies needed, so that I can continue bringing you crochet patterns and craft ideas. Thank you so much for your support.

3. Push the hook up and out the very center at the top, yarn over, pull up a loop, making sure that the loop is pulled up to the top of that tree. There will be two loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through two. You just joined with a single crochet.

4. picot, insert the hook between the two stitches at Round 1, beside the first sc. Make a second sc, making sure to pull the loop up, just as before.

5. make a second picot & turn.

6. Execute a sc and picot at the back of the tree, and then join to the beg. sc.

7. End off and pull all yarn tails to the center of the tree.

Turn the tree inside out

1. Weave in & secure all yarn tails that are on the inside of the tree.

2. Last step. Using the long yarn tail left over at the end of Round 14, sew the bottom of the tree closed.

Below are a few other two sided dishcloths. The pumpkin dishcloth was a favorite, the lemon farmhouse dishcloth was the first one that I designed, and the Christmas ornament dishcloth is just so cute!
