How fun is this Crochet Christmas tree dishcloth scrubby? Make your kitchen or bath festive when you use these cute double sided Christmas trees, to scrub away the grime. The free crochet pattern for the dishcloth scrubby is below. A crochet Christmas tree dishcloth scrubby. There are three Christmas trees. I am holding a pink tree in my hand and a there are two green Christmas trees in the background. There are sprigs of red berries poking into view at the left side, and the right upper corner. Each tree dishcloth has three rounds of snow puffs made using Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle Yarn.

Double sided dishcloths are so nice to use when scrubbing in the kitchen.

They will  fit in your hand like a sponge or brillo pad. So you know this Christmas tree dishcloth scrubby is going to fit inside a glass or jar.

This crochet Christmas tree dishcloth scrubby has Red Heart Scrubby sparkle yarn as the snow puffs, on the boughs of the Christmas tree.

I love adding a bit of scrubby yarn to my dishcloths. It turns an ordinary dishcloth into a scrubby that will help you get the stuck on grime, off of your dishes and pots and pans.

I sometimes use affiliate links in my posts. This won’t cost you anything, but will help offset the cost of yarn and other supplies needed, so that I can continue bringing you crochet patterns and craft ideas. Thank you so much for your support.

Below is a video that will show you how to add the Snow Puff Cluster Rounds to the Christmas Tree Dishcloth.

Snow Puff Cluster Rounds (Crochet Christmas Tree Dishcloth Scrubby)

Cluster = Snow Puff Cluster = *yo, insert hook into stitch indicated, pull up a loop, pull thru 2 loops* 4x; yo, pull thru all 5 loops on the hook, ch1 to close the st. push the cluster forward when making the next stitch.

Important: Place a marker at each exposed loop that is at the fold, at Round 4, Round 8 & Round 12.

Snow Puff Cluster Round 1:

1. Hold the top of the tree pointing away from you. Join with a slp st, at the marked st and insert your hook under the exposed loop at Round 4 at the fold; sc 1 more x in the joining st, 2 sc in nxt st; (sc in nxt st) 6x; pic 3; 2 sc in nxt st, 2 sc in marked st, 2 sc in nxt st; (sc in nxt st) 7x, 2 sc in last st, join w/slp st to beg. sc; TURN (25 sc)

2. The point of the tree should be facing you now.

3. Slp st in nxt st, cluster in nxt st; *slp st in nxt 2 st’s, cluster in nxt st* complete around, join w/slp st to beg. st.

4. End off, and pull all yarn tails to the center of the tree.

Snow Puff Cluster Round 2:

1. Hold the dishcloth, with the top of the tree pointing away from you. Join with a slp st, at the marked st, inserting your hook under the exposed loop that is at the fold at Round 8; sc 1 more x in the joining st, 2 sc in nxt st; (sc in nxt st) 13x; 2 sc in nxt st, 2 sc in marked st, 2 sc in nxt st; (sc in nxt st) 13x, 2 sc in last st, join w/slp st to beg. sc; TURN (38 sc)

2.The point of the tree should be facing you now.

3.Slp st in nxt st, cluster in nxt st, *slp st in nxt 2 st’s, cluster in nxt st* complete around, join w/slp st to beg. st.

4. End off, and pull all yarn tails to the center of the tree.

Snow Puff Cluster Round 3:

1. Point the top of the tree away from you. Join with a slp st, at the marked st, inserting your hook under the exposed loop at Round 12; sc 1 more x in the joining st, 2 sc in nxt st; (sc in nxt st) 17x; 2 sc in nxt st, 2 sc in marked st, 2 sc in nxt st; (sc in nxt st) 18x, 2 sc in last st, join w/slp st to beg. sc; TURN (47 sc)

2. The point of the tree should be facing you now.

3. Slp st in nxt st, cluster in nxt st, *slp st in nxt 2 st’s, cluster in nxt st* complete around, join w/slp st to beg. st.

4. End off, and pull all yarn tails to the center of the tree.

Tree Top Snow Puff:

1. Make sure the front of the tree is facing you, and the top of the tree pointing away from you; join with a sc, at any opening at the top of the tree.

2. Place the yarn on the hook with a slip knot. Then insert the hook between two stitches at Round 1.

3. Push the hook up and out the very center at the top, yarn over, pull up a loop, making sure that the loop is pulled up to the top of that tree. There will be two loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through two. You just joined with a single crochet.

4. picot, insert the hook between the two stitches at Round 1, beside the first sc. Make a second sc, making sure to pull the loop up, just as before.

5. make a second picot & turn.

6. Execute a sc and picot at the back of the tree, and then join to the beg. sc.

7. End off and pull all yarn tails to the center of the tree.

Turn the tree inside out

1. Weave in & secure all yarn tails that are on the inside of the tree.

2. Last step. Using the long yarn tail left over at the end of Round 14, sew the bottom of the tree closed.

Below are a few other two sided dishcloths. The pumpkin dishcloth was a favorite, the lemon farmhouse dishcloth was the first one that I designed, and the Christmas ornament dishcloth is just so cute!

Oh yes! I love the scrubby sparkle yarns the best! I have trouble with some of the other scrubby yarns. Not sure why. I think scrubby yarn was a fantastic invention.
