How To Crochet A Cowl Hoodie With Bulky Yarn

A lovely pattern that tells you how to crochet a cowl hoodie with bulky yarn. The Free Pattern is found below. This was designed and published in 2013. It is my pleasure to share this crochet pattern with you, or you can purchase the ad free pdf on ETSY or RAVELRY.
Creamy Cowl Hoodie with Sherbet colored yarn.

This creamy sherbet cowl uses Bulky (5) yarn and a K/10.5-6.5mm crochet hook.

Don’t you love those wooden buttons. They are almost impossible to find now. I did find mine on Etsy in the year 2012. Now it’s almost impossible to find them. I can hear my father saying this to me, “I think a feller could back on the hill and make his own.”.  I agree dad, I wish you were here to help my feller’s do that.
HEY! Here’s a sign up box. If you want to see what’s happening on my side of the mountain, sign up…it’s easy.

You don’t have to use bulky yarn to crochet this cowl hoodie.

Some of my testers used worsted weight yarn and used a crochet hook that was one size bigger. The yarn that I used is no longer available, but here is the color list. I am sure you can find this in worsted weight yarn. 200 grams of off white or cream, bright white, & light peach. 1oo grams of pale pink, a bit brighter pink, soft blue green, and a soft pea green.

This crochet cowl hoodie was duplicated using an array of purple Vanna White’s yarn.

Michelle did an amazing job on hers. She lived in Alaska at the time and she shared her photos on Ravelry. The background scenery is amazing. She shows how to wear it as a hooded cowl. Take a look at her photos HERE.

This bulky Cowl Hoodie scarf is so simple to crochet.

The crochet pattern is found at ETSY or RAVELRY.  This would be a good stash busting design. Crochet this in your favorite colors and keep it by the door and throw it over your shoulders when the air is chilly. You may also want to crochet the “Walk in the Park” Poncho Cowl. It can also be used as a hoodie and poncho.
