    Yarn: 2 strands of any Worsted Weight Yarn. 1 strand for lace rows. I recommend Red Heart Super Saver. Colorway used for this design is White and Burgundy but it’s your choice, Approx. 550 yds. of MC & 350 yds. of CC  Supplies 

    Cardboard; Small amount of stuffing (I used polyester fiberfill); 1/3 to 1/2 yard of fabric; Glue gun or  glue of choice 

    Embellishments: Optional – Lace, buttons, ribbons, trimming of all kinds! Picture tutorials follow at the end of the written  pattern. 

    Hook:
    L – 11/8.00mm 

     H – 8/5.00mm 

    Stitch Guide  

    join w/ = join with  

    SLP ST = Slip Stitch  

    CH = Chain  

    SC = Single Crochet  

    HDC = Half Double Crochet  

    HDC DEC = YO insert hook in stitch, YO draw up loop; YO insert hook in nxt st, YO draw up loop; YO draw  through all loops on hook  

    DC = Double Crochet  

    TRB = Treble Crochet  

    H BP HDC = High Back Post Half Double Crochet (Pic below)

    nxt = Next  

    st = Stitch  

    * * = Execute sequence between the stars, the number of times stated

    Pattern Notes:  

    1. Beginning CH 1 does not count as a stitch
    2. When crocheting the base, please pay close attention to how each round is written, as the increases  for the base of the basket are not executed in a standard form. I have staggered some of the increases,  so they are not sitting directly above the previous round’s increase. This helps the base to be flatter, and  not so rippled.
