Details About The Crochet Pattern for a Tumbler Wrap with Handle

This wrap fits a 40 oz tumbler with a handle. Each tumbler may be slightly different, but the written crochet pattern (FREE VERSION RIGHT HERE)  as well as the Left Handed Video tutorial will show you how to make this fit your tumbler.

Yarn Suggestions: Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn, Red Heart Super Saver, Caron Pound of Love, or any worsted weight (4). Cotton works beautifully as well—this is a great scrap-busting design.

Here Are Supplies to Embellish Your Tumbler Wrap

  • Ribbon of all sizes for bows

  • “Fray Check” to seal ribbon ends

  • A heat source, Matches, Lighter or a wood burning tool for sealing grosgrain & satin ribbon ends

  • Pre-made appliqués. Etsy or most craft stores are a great resource.

  • Sewing needle & thread or hot glue for attaching embellishments

  • Embroidery machine & stabilizers needed for monogramming on to a knit or crochet project

How to Crochet a Chain Loop for a Button Closure

Adding a simple chain loop creates a functional closure that secures around a decorative button.  The button and loop design is also decorative. Choose a statement button, a rustic wooden style, or something seasonal to complement your wrap. Small details that mean a lot.
