Safety & Care Guidelines for Crochet Patterns

Welcome! My goal is to make your crochet I crafting experience safe & fun. These guidelines are designed to help you use my patterns responsibly and ensure that your finished items are enjoyed safely.

🔹 General Use

• All crochet & craft patterns are for personal crafting use only.

• The pattern provides instructions; the maker is responsible for material choices and safe use of the finished item.

• Always follow recommended tools and yarn instructions.

🔹 Tools & Materials

• Crochet hooks, needles, and scissors are sharp—adult supervision recommended for children.

• Hot glue guns and glue are hot. Please use care  and adult supervision recommended for children.

• Some yarns (especially wool) may cause allergic reactions. Choose fibers appropriate for the intended recipient.

• Test dark or vibrant yarns for colorfastness before combining with lighter shades.

🔹 Finished Item Safety

• Babies & Young Children: Avoid small parts (buttons, beads, safety eyes) that could be a choking hazard.

• Never leave babies unattended with handmade items such as blankets, hats, or toys.

• Pets: Supervise use of handmade toys or accessories, as yarn fibers can unravel if chewed.

• Handmade items are not flame resistant—keep away from heaters, stoves, and open flames.

🔹 Care Instructions

• Always follow the washing and care instructions on your yarn label.

• If gifting or selling finished items, include care guidance so the item lasts longer and remains safe.
