Krissys Over The Mountain Crochet

And Crafts

Crochet Moses Baskets

I would have loved to have a Moses Basket when I was little girl.

You can purchase the Ebook at Ravelry.  or ETSY.

This is such a fun time of year for little girls…playing with the dolls they received for Christmas  is a big deal! I would use just about anything to carry my dolls around…cereal boxes, laundry baskets. My dad brought me a doll that had a plastic cradle with a plastic cover. I was amazed…alas the plastic was cheap and I was hard on toys so it didn’t last very long.

Once I started designing Moses Baskets I couldn’t stop! This one is a little smaller and of course I show you how to embellish your basket!

Then I had to add lace to the small Moses Baskets. Hey…here’s a tutorial on how to make the perfect pull tie bow!

Then folks started asking for larger Moses Baskets. So I designed this one to fit an 18″ doll. I added a tutorial on how to embroider on the basket using an embroidery machine.

Then I just had to add drop over lace! Not only was I inspired to add a crocheted lace option, but I knew tucking in a bit of tulle under the lace would just make this Moses Basket an heirloom quality item.

I have all of these patterns individually listed on Ravelry and Etsy, but if you want to purchase the EBOOK CLICK the PHOTO BELOW!
