There isn’t anything sweeter than your little one’s dressed in a candy corn themed sweater. Fun times will be had this Fall season watching them toddle around in their Candy Corn Sweater. Leave the cuff on the sleeve open for the boys and use the placket button closure at the front, or cuff the sleeves and add tons of buttons and ribbon for the girls. Embellishing this sweater was so much fun!
The Candy Corn Hat is on the blog and the pattern is sized for newborn, 3 month, and 6-9 month. You can easily make it larger by going up a hook size or two and add more rounds. The Sweater sizes are 6-9 month, 12-18 mo., 2t-4t, & 5- 6yr. A wide range of sizes for you to play with.

You should have completed a CH 1 and Turn at the end of Row 31, Edge Stitch around the edge of sweater, dropping colors and joining in the color when needed so that the colors match. Or you can edge stitch in one color for a pretty contrasting effect, the choice is yours. Fasten off and weave in ends.

FINISHING EDGE STITCH:
SLP ST, CH1 in each SC & CH1 Space around. This stitch has a lot of texture and is one of
my favorite edgings. You should have completed a CH 1 and Turn at the end of Row 31, Edge Stitch around the edge of sweater, dropping colors and joining in the color when needed so that the colors match. Or you can edge stitch in one color for a pretty contrasting effect, the choice is yours. Fasten off, weave in ends.
SLEEVES
From Right Side, with Orange, join between the 2nd and 3rd
sc , at the middle of the underarm area.
Round 1: CH 1, SC, in joining spot; SC, between next 2 st’s; Do not go down into the corner, skipping those stitches to round out the arms eye, SC in first SC of arms eye, Pic 1 & 2. Continue in each st around
the arms eye; Skip st at second corner, SC between remaining st’s at underarm, join w/Slp st in beg. SC. Do not turn (39 sc)
Round 2: SC , CH1, in joining ST; Skip st; [SC in nxt ST, CH1; Skip St] Complete around, Join w/Slp St to beg. SC; Turn (20 st)
Round 3: *SC in nxt CH 1 sp, CH 1, *Repeat between * * in each Ch 1 space around; SLP ST in beg. CH 1; CH 1 Turn
Round 5-25: Repeat Row 3, (Or until measurement is reached) dropping orange at end of row 23, and joining yellow[sleeve will measure 8” from underarm]
