Crochet Pattern Notes:
1. Please see Size Adjustment Tips if you are customizing this cardigan to fit your body type. You will find the help you need to make these adjustments.
2. This is designed to be an “open front” loose fitting cardigan. If you would like a tighter fit, please go down one size or make adjustments by eliminating stitches to the foundation chain, and eliminating increases in the underarm area.
3. The yoke of this sweater is written using abbreviations that separate each section of the yoke, within the row. fs1(front side 1) & fs2 (front side 2) back (back of the yoke) shldr 1(shoulder 1) & shldr 2 (shoulder 2)

Best Yarns for the Mountain Sunrise Cardigan
Choosing the right yarn is key to creating a cardigan with the drape and softness this design deserves. This pattern works beautifully with fingering weight or #2 fine yarn, and here are some of the top choices I recommend:

These yarns shift gradually through color, creating a seamless ombré effect:

(Available from some Etsy sellers)

Variegated Yarn Options
These yarns are acrylic and spring back a little, and give beatiful variegated colors (not true gradients), but you will still love the results:
-
Lion Brand Summer Nights
-
XS–S: 800–880 yds (2 balls)
-
M–XL: 1000–1200 yds (3 balls)
-
1X–3X: 1400–1700 yds (4 balls)
-
4X–5X: 1800–2100 yds (5 balls)
-
Solid Yarn Options
Prefer a solid shade? You’re in luck.
-
Loops and Threads Woolike (by Michaels)
-
Great budget option, though you may need to go up a hook size to achieve gauge
-

My apologies Bobby, I left out two key stitch descriptions. This should help you. I added these two stitches to the description. Not sure how that happened.
