Shamrock Pot Scrubby Crochet Pattern

Beginning:

ch3, join in a ring

Round 1:

ch1, sc in ring; *ch3, sc in ring* 3x; join w/slp st to beg. sc; (4 sc, 3-ch3 sp)

Round 2: ch2 does not count as stitch

*slp st into ch3 sp; ch2, 3dc, hdc, 3dc in ch3 sp; slp st in nxt sc;* 3x

Round 3:

*slp st into ch2 sp., ch2, (2dc in nxt st, dc in nxt st, 2dc in nxt st, slp st in nxt st) (ch2, 2dc in nxt st, dc in nxt st, 2dc in nxt st, slp st in slp st made in prev. round* 3x

Round 4:

*slp st into ch2 sp., ch1, (hdc in nxt st, dc in nxt st , 2dc in nxt st, dc in nxt st, hdc in nxt st, skp slp st) slp st in 1st ch of beg. ch2 sp.; ch1, (hdc in nxt st, dc in nxt st , 2dc in nxt st, dc in nxt st, hdc in nxt st, skp slp st) slp st in 1st ch of the beg. ch2, of the nxt leaf; * 3x; The last slp st will be in the beg. ch1

Round 5:

Note: please execute the slp st’s in a loose manner. A tight slp st is not your friend in this pattern. You will be walking your yarn to the stitch you want to work in. If it is tight, it will cause a curl or pucker.
*slp st in nxt st, (hdc in nxt st, dc in nxt st, 2dc in nxt st, dc in nxt st, hdc in nxt st) slp st into the dip; slp st into ch1 sp, (hdc in nxt st, dc in nxt st, 2dc in nxt st, dc in nxt st, hdc in nxt st, slp st in nxt st, slp st in the dip, slp st in the beg. ch1 of the next leaf.* 3x;  Note: At the end of the 3rd repeat, skp the last slp st in the beg. ch1 of the next leaf. It is highlighted in red.

End off, leaving a very long tail on one of the shamrocks. Place the shamrocks, wrong sides together, and proceed to sew them together all the way around. When finished sewing, do not end off, use the crochet hook to pull up a loop and ch 25, and slp st to the beginning. (this is the hanging loop stem) End off and weave in all ends.

Finished Measurements – Width – 5″, Height – 5″ not including the chain loop stem.
