    Yarn:

    Hold two strands of any worsted weight yarn. Red Heart Super Saver is wonderful, but any worsted weight yarn is good. Stiff yarns are best. I used Red Heart Super Saver on the  purple baskets, and Bernat Pound of Love on the pink baskets. 400 to 500 yds for the whole set.

    Hook:
    L- 11/8mm 

     G-6/4.0mm 

    Stitch Guide = join w/ = join with  

    MC = Main Color CC = Contrasting Color  

    SLP ST = Slip Stitch  

    CH = Chain  

    SC = Single Crochet  

    HDC = Half Double Crochet 

    DC = Double Crochet 

    TRB = Treble Crochet  

    H BP HDC = High Back Post Half Double Crochet (Video Tutorial) 

    SP = Space  

    BLO = Back Loop Only  

    nxt = Next  

    * * = Repeat between the stars the number of times stated  

    x = Times; example Repeat 2 x or 2 times; 3 x or 3 times and so on 

    in = example “in nxt st” means you will be inserting the hook under the top two loops of the next stitch to complete stitch or sequence of  stitches stated. 

    Pattern Notes: 

    1: Beginning CH of each round, does not count as a stitch 

    Nesting Bowl 2 with a Drop Over Lace Edge (Please use “L” hook) 

    Holding 2 strands of MC CH 3 join in circle, or magic circle 

    Round 1: CH 1; 10 HDC in ring; join w/SLP ST in 1st HDC (10 HDC) 

    Round 2: CH 1; 2 HDC in nxt ST and in each ST around; join w/SLP ST in 1st HDC (20 HDC) Round 3: CH 1; *HDC in nxt ST, 2 HDC in nxt ST* repeat 9 x more; join w/SLP ST in 1st HDC (30 HDC) Round 4: CH 1; *HDC in nxt ST (2 x), 2 HDC in nxt ST* repeat 9 x more; join w/SLP ST in 1st HDC (40 HDC) Round 5: CH 1; H BP HDC in nxt ST, and in each st around; join w/SLP ST in 1st HDC (40 HDC) 

    Round 6: CH 1; HDC in nxt st, and in each st around; join w/SLP ST in 1st HDC (40 HDC) Color change is optional 

    Round 7 & 8: Repeat Round 6 (40 HDC) Note: Change colors at the last pull through of Round 8 for a  smooth color transition. 

    Round 9: Continue to Repeat Round 6; after joining; drop off one strand of yarn, you will be using only  one strand of yarn throughout the rest of the pattern (40 HDC) 

    Drop Over Fan Lace Edge (Please use “G” hook for next step) Using one strand only  

    Round 1: CH1 and turn, so that the inside of the basket is facing you; SC in BLO of joining st; CH 4; skp  nxt st; * SC in BLO of nxt ST; CH 4; skp nxt st;* Repeat between * * around; join w/SLP ST in beginning  SC. (20 CH 4 arches) 

    Round 2: (Note: all Fans will consist of 6 DC and 5 CH 1 spaces) SLP ST in 1st CH of CH 4  arch; CH 4 (CH 4 will count as a DC, CH 1); DC, CH 1 in CH 4 space/under arch (4x), 1 more DC under arch;  SC under nxt arch; *DC, CH 1 in CH 4 space/under arch (5x) 1 more DC under arch; SC under nxt arch; *  Repeat between ** around, joining w/SLP ST to 3rd CH of beginning CH 4 (10 fans w/10 SC)

    Round 3: (Note: all fans will have 5 CH 3 loops, and all SC stitches will be skipped in  this next sequence) [*CH3; Skip CH 1 space, SLP ST in nxt ST or DC* Repeat between * * 4 x more;  Skip SC and SLP ST in 1st DC of nxt fan] Repeat between [ ] 9 x more, join w/SLP ST in beginning SLP ST;  end off secure and weave in ends. (10 fans with a CH 3 edging) 

    Finishing Round 

    Round 4: Hold basket so the outside of the basket is facing you: Attach yarn with SC join in BLO of  Round 9 you can join in the unworked stitch, but it really doesn’t matter; *CH 3, Skip nxt ST; SC  in nxt ST* Repeat around, joining with SLP ST to beg. SC; End Off secure and weave in ends 

    Drop Over Eyelet Lace Edge (Please use “G” hook for next step) Using one strand only  

    Round 1: CH1 and turn, so that the inside of the basket is facing you; SC in BLO of joining st; CH 4; skp  nxt st; * SC in BLO of nxt ST; CH 4; skp nxt st;* Repeat between * * around; join w/SLP ST in beginning  SC. (20 CH 4 arches) 

    Round 2: SLP ST in 1st CH of CH 4 arch; CH3; DC in CH 4 space/under arch (2x); CH 3; DC under arch (3x);  SC under nxt arch; *DC under nxt arch (3x); CH 3; DC under arch (3x); SC under nxt arch; * Repeat  between ** around, joining w/SLP ST to 3rd Ch of beginning CH 3 (10 fans w/10 SC) 

    Round 3: (Note: all SC stitches will be skipped in this next sequence) CH1; SC in joining  ST; SC in nxt 2 ST’s; SC under CH 3 arch; CH2; SC under CH 3 arch; SC in nxt 3 ST’s; * Skip St; SC in nxt 3  ST’s; SC under CH 3 arch; CH2; SC under CH 3 arch; SC in nxt 3 ST’s; * Repeat around, joining w/SLP ST in  beginning CH; end off secure and weave in ends.
