    NOTIONS LIST: SEWING NEEDLE AND THREAD, 

    FOR PINWHEEL BOW, (IT WOULD BE TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE TO USE GROSGRAIN RIBBON FOR THE PINWHEEL BOW) 26” OF 1 ½” RIBBON OF CHOICE,  

    22” OF 1”BROCADE RIBBON OF CHOICE 

    8” OF ½” TO ¼” RIBBON OF CHOICE 

    HOOK SIZES  

    J/10/6.00MM (Hat & Bib) 

    F/5/3.75MM (Booties 0-3 month) 

    H/8/5.00MM (Booties 3-6 month) 

    GAUGE = Main pattern rows for hat: Row 1: Make base chain a multiple of 2; DC in nxt st, SC in nxt st across; ch1  turn Row 2: SC across, Repeat Rows 1 & 2 until 4”x 4”=13 rows up and down, 12 st across Main pattern rows for booties: ch  

    Stitch Key 

    dc = double crochet 

    beg = beginning 

    sc = single crochet 

    slp st = slip stitch 

    hdc = half double crochet 

    hdc dec= half double crochet decrease 

    trb = treble crochet 

    ch1 sp = chain 1 space 

    sp = space 

    nxt = next 

    st = stitch 

    repeat between * * = repeat the sequence that is between the * * as many times as stated x = times, will follow number, example repeat sequence 8x or 8 times 

    parenthesis w/ number, HDC in nxt st (2x) = complete 1 HDC in the nxt st, twice Instructions in green is adding length to the hat. You will continue in the pattern as it is written.

    Glamorous Hat

    Newborn to 3 month 

    Beginning CH does not count as stitch 

    CH 3 join in circle, or use Magic Ring 

    Round 1: CH 2; 10 HDC in ring; join w/slp st in top of first HDC made (joining to the first HDC will  shove the beg. CH 2 to the back of work, making a recessed seam that isn ’t as  visible.) (10 st) 

    Round 2: CH 1, SC & DC in joining st; *SC & DC in nxt st* 8 more x; join w/slp st in top of first SC made  (20 st) 

    Round 3: CH 1, SC in joining st; 2 SC in nxt st; *SC in nxt st, 2 SC in nxt st* 8 more x; join w/slp st in top of  first SC made (30 st) 

    Round 4: CH 1, SC in joining st, DC in nxt st, SC & DC in nxt st; *SC in nxt st, DC in nxt st, SC & DC in nxt  st* 8 more x; join w/slp st in top of first SC made (40 st) Newborn – 3 month 3 ½” – 4” diameter 

    Round 5: CH 1, SC in joining st and in each st around, join w/slp st in top of first SC made (40 st) 

    Round 6: CH 1, SC in joining st, DC in nxt st; SC in nxt st, DC in nxt st, and consecutively in each st around,  join w/slp st in top of first SC made (40 st) 

    Instructions for 3 month size will continue in green, which will be adding length to the hat. Round 7 – 11: Round 7 – 13: Repeat Round 5 & 6 Consecutively: Round 5-11 = Newborn 2 ¼” ;  Round 5-13 = 3 month 2 ¾”  

    Round 12: Round 14: CH 1, SC in joining st, SC in nxt st (3x), 2 SC in nxt st; *SC in nxt st (4x), 2 SC in nxt  st* 7 more x; join w/slp st in top of first SC made (48 st) 

    Round 12-16: Round 14 – 19: CH 1, SC in joining st and in each st around, join w/slp st in top of first SC  made (48 st) Brim measures 2” to 3” 

    Edge Stitch 

    Round 17: Round 20: Ch1, slp st in joining st; CH1, SLP ST in nxt st, and in each st around. Fasten off, and  weave in ends. Turn brim up 2 ½” to 3” at the recessed seam area, and sew in place. Adorn this area  with buttons, ribbons, bows, or a cute chain with matching or contrasting yarn that has been tied into a  bow! 

    Finishing measurements: 12”-13” circumference; 5 ½” – 6” from crown to bottom  of hat, with brim unfolded, With brim folded back – 4” – 5”; Width – 6 ½”

    6 to 9 months 

    Beginning CH does not count as stitch

    Round 16: Round 18: CH 1, SC in joining st, SC in nxt st (3x), 2 SC in nxt st; *SC in nxt st (4x), 2 SC in nxt  st* 7 more x; SC in nxt st 93x), 2 SC in last st; join w/slp st in top of first SC made (54 st) 

    Round 17-21: Round 19 – 23: CH 1, SC in joining st and in each st around, join w/slp st in top of first SC  made (54 st) Brim measures 2 ½” – 3” 

    Edge Stitch 

    Round 22: Round 24: Ch1, slp st in joining st; CH1, SLP ST in nxt st, and in each st around. Fasten off, and  weave in ends. Turn brim up 2 ½” to 3” at the recessed seam area, and sew in place. Adorn this area with buttons, ribbons,  bows, or a cute chain with matching or contrasting yarn that has been tied into a bow!Finishing measurements: 16”  circumference; 7 ½” from crown to bottom of hat, with brim unfolded, With brim folded back – 6”; Width – 8”

    Round 1: CH 10, 2 SC in 2nd ch from hook; SC in nxt st (5x); HDC in nxt st (2x); 8 HDC in last ch; Working  down the other side of your chain; HDC in nxt st (2x); SC in nxt st (5x); 2 SC in last st; join w/ slp st in top  of beg.     Round 3 to top edge of shoe = 1 ¾”- 2” 6-9 months = 2-2 ¼”  

    Finishing measurements: 0 -3 month = Shoe from heel to toe = 3 ½”; Shoe  opening = 2” 

    Finishing measurements: 6-9 month = Shoe from heel to toe = 4”; Shoe opening =  2 ¼”
