Krissys Over The Mountain Crochet

The Over Brook Tunic Collection – Crochet Patterns

The evolution of The  Over Brook Tunic Collection started while sitting on my front porch swing, crocheting and coming up with new designs last summer. That is when I created the Over Brook Poncho and I am in love with the stitches in that poncho! When the attempt was made to create the Over Brook Tunic, I kind of stumbled upon the Over Brook Ponchette/Cape and it was a happy surprise. I had planned on making the Mesh Over Brook Poncho all along, because we all need an item like this for walks on the beach or just a little warmth on a cool evening. You can find the collection on Ravelry and Etsy.
What a lovely collection of crocheted tunics. So many options. Short sleeve, no sleeve, below the elbow sleeves. The length of the tunics and the edging are all different as well. You can style your own Over Brook Tunic of top.

The patterns are packed with helpful info. You can use a variety of techniques to create a one of a kind garment for you to wear or to gift to a loved one. They are quick and easy to make. I used Lion Brand Comfy Cotton. I love the drape that it lends to this design.

The first tunic I made using the Over Brook stitches was the Lace Tee. The tee lands just below the waist and has a new set of stitches in the border at the waist.

Continuing on with the Over Brook Tunic Collection was fun. The next design was the below the waist tunic, and it needed to be a bit longer. The picot edge is a perfect addition.

The last tunic is called the Extended Lace and is a favorite for so many. It is lovely, so lacey and versatile. This is perfect for Maternity wear and I have added info in the “Designer Notes” that have been added to the pattern.

You can also pick this design up at Ravelry or Etsy.

Using a variegated yarn makes this a casual design.

Oh wait, I haven’t told you the best part. You can add sleeves! Many different sleeves! Each pattern will have three sleeve additions for you to try.

I wish you could sit with me on my porch swing and crochet and chat the day away! That would be so lovely! Leave me a note and tell me where your favorite place to crochet is. I would love to hear from you.

A photo collage of a crocheted towel topper, and Santa is going down the chimney the wrong way. He is upside down in the chimney. The photo on the left is showing the towel topper hanging on an oven handle and the towel is white. There are two photos on the right, showing the same towel topper being used as a gift card holder. The chimney is red, with a green wreath and red bow. The top of the chimney is tan with white furry yarn that looks like snow. There is also a bit of white furry yarn at the bottom of the chimney to look like snow. Then Santas legs are sticking up, out of the top of the chimney, since he went in upside down.
