What a happy mistake was made when this lovely lace poncho came off my hook. I was trying to create a tunic that would compliment the Over Brook Poncho crochet pattern and the Over Brook Mesh Poncho and this poncho happened. If you would like to pick up the ad free pdf you will find it at ETSY or RAVELRY.

I love the drape and the versatility of the design and I quickly added it to the Over Brook collection of crochet patterns.
Make it in a cream or white and it becomes a beautiful cover for a wedding or other special occasion. If you make the poncho in a variegated yarn it is perfect for casual wear.

This is such an easy piece to wear.
One of my pattern testers really enjoys her poncho. Here is what she had to say when she wore it the other day, “I wore my ponchette to the senior center and then the grocery store today, and boy did I get a lot of compliments! A girlfriend said she wants one too. This ponchette is a real winner! Thanks!!”

Come back to my side of the mountain soon!
It was so good to have you on my side of the mountain. I hope you will come again soon.
If you make the Over Brook Ponchette I hope you will share your experience in the comments. Tell me who you are making it for.
Your story may encourage and inspire someone else.

Thank you so much! I loved making this design. It was fun and easy and I may design other ponchette’s in the future, and I may offer a free on then. If you would like to join my FB group I sometimes have a season of sharing when I release new patterns.
