This Christmas Ornament Dishcloth is double sided.

The double sided effect on this Christmas ornament makes it feel like you are holding a brillo pad. The thirsty cotton yarn is great for washing dishes, and then that bit of Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle Yarn that is used to make the cluster stitches in the center of the bulb, gives you a bit of extra scrubbing power.

You may notice that there is a “Pink” dishcloth.

That is because life has taken a bit of a turn, on my side of the mountain. (I am one year out since my cancer diagnosis)  I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The test results are showing good things. I am in the middle of the treatment phase, but I will share my progress in my group on Facebook. In the meantime, I hope you will catch my “Pink” vision and crochet a pink Christmas ornament two, as a tribute to Breast Cancer fighters, victims and survivors.

I want to give God all honor and praise for the extreme peace he has given me, during this time.

I am still sleeping well and my fear is nonexistent. I truly don’t deserve this gift. It is an extreme blessing, and I can’t thank him enough for this provision in my life. God is so good! Proverbs 3: 5 & 6 KJV

My hand is holding the pink crochet Christmas bulb ornament dishcloth scrubby in my hand. In the background the red and green dishcloth can be seen.

Thank you so much for the pattern. Prayers for successful treatments and for a complete healing. I had breast surgery 2 years ago next month, I had all the signs of something bad, but praise God it turned out to be nothing at all. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers

So sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I will be making this pink ornament cloth for a friend who also was newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Her surgery and treatment will start on November 22. Also, I totally agree – our God is great and good and deserves our highest trust and praise. I will remember to pray for you when I pray for my friend!

Thank you so much for the prayers. I am sorry to hear about your friend. I will pray for her. I had my surgery yesterday. It went really well. When they get the pathology reports back, that will determine my course of treatment. The biggest hurdle is done (the mastectomy) I am praying the rest of the process will be just as easy. I hope your friend will have an easy time of it too.

      God Bless you Andrea!
