Free Crochet Pattern For A St. Patricks Day Bucket Hat

You will love this free crochet pattern for a St. Patricks Day Bucket Hat. A free version of the pattern is found below. It is so fast to crochet. You will find multiple sizes in the premium ad free pdf that can be purchased at RAVELRY and ETSY

Placing that buckle applique on the Leprechaun Hat is what sets this hat apart.

Simple little details like the buckle make the difference in a design. That is a big reason why I added the Small Shamrock Applique Crochet Pattern to the premium ad free pdf for you, so that you can embellish your hat.

The unique ridge at the crown of the hat is easy to crochet.

This technique is used in a lot of my designs. The method of wrapping the hook high around the top of the post gives a clean and fun finish. Here is the video tutorial if you would like to watch it. Sign Up For My Newsletter

Watch this video below for a visual account of how to crochet the Leprechaun Bucket Hat.

I do love crocheting St. Patricks Day designs. I have a few on this blog.

Most of them use the Floating Shamrock Stitch. The newest design is a Floating Shamrock Towel Holder. I really had fun designing this cute Shamrock Coffee Cozy…it is just so cute and it has a coordinating Beanie and Messy Bun Hat.

Love the patterns and I thank you for your generosity in sharing your designs. I seem to be having a problem getting the free PDF for the shamrock hat.
