 12mo. – 18mo.

Row 1: CH 10, SC in 2nd CH from hook, and remaining CH’s; CH 1 and turn (9 SC) Row 2: SC in BL of each ST across; CH 1 turn (9 SC)

Row 3-12: Repeat Row 2; at end of row 14 end off leaving a long tail. Using yarn needle sew short ends  together (see demo pics) and weave in and secure ends. 6” W x 4 ¼” H

Finishing Row: (You will be crocheting along the side, placing a stitch in the end of each row, this is  beneficial if adding fun fur or specialty yarns) CH 1, SC in the end of each row. End off leaving a long tail and sew ends together in whichever fashion you desire.

At the top of the boot cuff in the finishing row, attach specialty yarn, such as Bernat Pipsqueek, Red  Heart Tizzy or Buttercup. Draw up a loop and SC around the top edge, join w/SLP ST in beginning SC and  end off, weave in and secure ends. If using fun fur or boucle yarn, I recommend three rounds for that  really fluffy effect, and then using needle and thread….sew your knots in place to keep it from coming  unraveled, as this yarn is slippery.

Sew a Bow, buttons or other embellishment of choosing to the top of boot cuff, just under the trim.

Bonus: Crochet Bow Pattern

With G-6/4mm hook and one strand or worsted weight (This is just a guide for sizing, you can use a  bigger hook for a bigger bow….or bigger yarn and bigger hook….this is just too easy to be rigid with  gauge and sizing…just my opinion)

CH 4; 3 TRBL in 1st CH, CH 3, SLP ST in 1st CH; (You will be making the other side of the bow now, so there  will be a slight turn) CH 3; 3 TRBL in 1st CH; CH 3, SLP ST in 1st CH; End off, leaving a long tail to wrap  around the middle a couple of times and then tie in the back, leaving tails long enough to use for sewing  on to your boot cuffs or brim of pillbox hat.

I hope you enjoyed these crochet patterns.

I started my designing journey sewing pageant wear for children. I took in custom orders. When I started adding in crocheted accessories, folks started asking for the crochet patterns.

There are quite a few crocheted accessories for babies and children that I designed and written the patterns for, once the requests were made.

This Tutu Dress Crochet Pattern is one of my favorite. It incorporates vintage in spired embellishments if you were to choose. The pattern also shows you how to add a fabric skirt if you would like. I do love this adorable “Lil Bo Peep meet Lil Boy Blue Set” for babies.

It was so good to have you on my side of the mountain. I hope you enjoyed your visit. Please come again and feel free to take your time looking through all of the free crochet patterns that I have published on this blog.

Take care and God Bless,
