I picked up this spray or fan of feathers at Michaels. You can purchase them at most craft stores. Some of them already have clips on the back. You can also add a piece of vintage jewelry to the center of the feather spray.

You can add a fan of pleated lace, a feather arrangement, secure everything in place, and you have a vintage inspired heirloom that can be passed down to your loved ones.

A chunky (6) yarn was used in the hat below. It has the second brim option. There is not a peak, but a fancy brooch that I picked up at a craft store really shines on this Pillbox hat.
That ridge at the top of the hat is made by going High around the post.
It will take the round roll out of the sides of the hat. Making them stand up straiter. I use this stitch in all of the crochet baskets that I have designed. Baskets for the Bathroom. I love to design Household baskets, Moses Baskets and Trinket Baskets. Basket crochet patterns sell very well for me.

Great hat. I love retro/vintage looking hats and this one is the best. I also have had cancer and lost all of my hair, This would look great with a soft chiffon scarf under it to make it soft and camoflauge more.

I made a pillbox hat for my son in a tight twist black. I was trying for a Eastern Asian look. Trying to keep my son’s head warm and at the same time like it was fashionable.
