The Tiny Pink Pearls Chemo Cap Free Crochet Pattern is available to you on this post, or you can purchase the ad free pdf at RAVELRY or ETSY. In a world filled with complexities, it’s the simplest acts of kindness and support that often mean the most.

The Tiny Pink Pears Chemo cap has a turned up peak that can be embellished.

Three sizes are of the Chemo Cap Free Crochet Pattern are included below.

One of the unique aspects of the Tiny Pink Pearls Chemo Cap is its versatility. The pattern includes three different sizes: Child (X-Small), Small (Medium), and Large (X-Large). This means you can create a perfectly fitting cap for the intended recipient, whether it’s a child, a friend, or a family member. This thoughtful customization ensures that the cap is not only functional but also comfortable.

The use of the mini popcorn stitch in the crochet pattern, creates a beautiful texture that resembles tiny pink pearls.

This subtle yet elegant design detail adds a touch of beauty and grace to the cap. The soft and comforting aspect of the cap is perfectly complemented by this stylish element. It’s more than just a piece of clothing; it’s a symbol of strength and beauty. The turned up peak is the perfect pallete to add a lovely button or brooch.

sc = single Crochet
hdc = half double crochet
blo = Back Loop Only
sp = Space
nxt = Next
st = Stitch
*  * = Execute sequence between the stars, the number of times stated
x = Times; example Repeat 2 x or 2 times; 3 x or 3 times and so on.

mp = Mini Popcorn – insert hook in stitch indicated in the pattern, yo pull up loop, using that loop you just pulled up, and leaving original loop on hook, ch3, yo, pull loop through both loops on hook. Push the ch3 to the front, creating a mini popcorn.
Designer Notes:
1. Please check the gauge before making the hat. Truboo yarn is sooooo flexible. It can be compared to the flexibility of corn starch paste. This hat does have a bit of stretch to it. Keep in mind that this hat is designed for someone who has lost their hair.
2. I may use affiliate links, at no cost to you, if you purchase a product using my link. If you purchase it will help fund me, so that I may continue to design new crochet patterns for you to enjoy.
3. Beginning chains do not count as a stitch.

I have designed quite a few Chemo Caps since I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2021.

It was the middle of winter when the fluffy and warm Pipsqueak Chemo Hat was designed. Aptly named the Pipsqueak Chemo Cap, as it uses Pipsqueak Yarn. The turned up brim is fashionable and is the perfect place to add a brooch or a bit of embellishment.

The Spring after my Cancer diagnosis, I really enjoyed designing mesh chemo caps.

First was a mesh beanie, then a banded mesh bucket hat. That bucket chemo cap is perfect to embellish into a 1920’s inspired cloche.

A photo collage that has the three chemo caps that I have designed, since being diagnosed with Cancer.

Designing free crochet patterns for chemo caps was happening prior to my Breast Cancer diagnosis.

The first chemo cap I designed is quick and uses Lion Brands Homespun Thick and Quick. Then it was a chemo cap that used Lion Brand Homespun, but it wasn’t the Thick and Quick. It’s a beautiful hat with a peaked turned up brim. The next chemo cap designn has a complete turned up brim. You can use either Lion Brand Hometown or Homespun yarn. It is so easy to crochet.

    Can you please provide the approximate measurements of each size? I purchased the pattern, and assumed the measurements for sizes would be covered in the pattern. I am at a loss for what size to attempt without knowing how big the final cap will be? Thank you
