This Bucket Hat is perfect for special occasions.

It is especially sweet, when the brim is embellished with fanciness to resemble a 1920’s cloche. Lion Brand Coboo Yarn was used for this design. I have been advised that Caron Simply Soft is another good option for chemo headgear.

I am currently fighting Breast Cancer and I felt the need to design beautiful chemo headgear.

While at my local cancer center I asked them what their needs were. They mentioned a cotton chemo cap would be good for the warmer months. They also mentioned they always need chemo hats for men.

I haven’t lost my hair, but it is bringing me great joy to design unique and lovely chemo caps. God has been good to me, and my journey is easier than most. I am thankful for good health after my surgery, and praying that my energy will be restored soon. Thank you to all who have been praying for me. To God be the glory!

This crochet pattern gives instruction on how to crochet a child sized chemo cap. Just eliminate Round 5, and add only 3 rounds of sc after the last increase on the brim. You will need to adjust your stitch count and remember the Round Count will be off by one.
