A Personal Testimonial

Designer Notes:

1. This crochet pattern is written in US terms.
2. It is worked in the round with a join at the end of each round.
3. All beginning chains do not count as a stitch unless otherwise noted

Yarn Used

Two strands of any (4) worsted weight Yarn will be held throughout the entire pattern. 

Hook: K-10.5/6.5mm
Stitch Guide:
ch = Chain
ch1 = chain 1
sc = Single Crochet
hdc = Half Double Crochet
dc = Double Crochet
slp st = Slip Stitch
st/st’s = stitch or stitches
Special Stitch Guide:
3ch nub st = 3 chain nub stitch
Insert hook into st, pull up a loop, leaving the first loop on the hook, use the other loop to chain 3, then pull through the first loop, push the nub to the front when crocheting the next stitch.

Shell = 5 dc stitches in the st indicated in the pattern

Terminology Abbreviations:
beg. =  beginning
skp = skip
nxt = Next
x = Times; example execute sequence 2 x or 2 times; 3 x or 3 times and so on;
*  * = Crochet the sequence between the stars the number of times stated;
in = example “in nxt st” means you will be inserting the hook under the top two loops of the next stitch to complete the stitch or sequence of stitches stated.

Round 4:

Round 14 & 15:

Repeat rounds 12 & 13

Round 16:

sc in joining st and in each st around, increase in every 5th st, join w/slp st to beg. sc (60 sc)

Crocheting the flared brim of the Comfort and Grace Cloche.

You will love this flared brim, it uses a combination for Shell Stitches and a Ripple Stitch for the edge. Such a lovely brim.
