Using a piece of yarn and a yarn needle to sew the pockets to the lower front of the cardigan on both sides, right above the last dc row.

Place and sew buttons in place. I love to use scotch tape to hold the buttons in place, removing the scotch tape after they have been sewn on with needle and thread.

1. Tape the buttons in place. 2. Sew button to sweater using needle and thread. 3. leave the tape in place while sewing the button on. 4. easily remove the tape when you are finished.

Crochet Hack:

  1. Tape the buttons in place.
  2. Sew button to sweater using needle and thread.
  3. leave the tape in place while sewing the button on.
  4. easily remove the tape when you are finished.
